This page explains how to delete your MihiraCare AI account and the data associated with it. You can delete your account yourself inside the app, or ask us to delete it by email if you can no longer sign in.

In an emergency, contact your doctor or local emergency services. MihiraCare AI does not provide medical advice.

Option 1 — Delete it in the app

Open MihiraCare AI and sign in.
Go to the Profile tab and scroll to the bottom.
Tap Delete account.
Confirm. The deletion runs immediately — your data is removed and your sign-in stops working straight away. It cannot be undone.

Option 2 — Ask us by email

If you can’t sign in, email us from the address on your account and we’ll delete it for you:

Send it from your registered email address, or include the email or phone number on the account so we can confirm it’s yours. We complete verified requests within 30 days.

What gets deleted

Everything below is removed when you delete a patient account:

Deleted	What that covers
Your profile	Name, email, phone, language, role, LMP/EDD, and the codes linking you to a doctor, hospital or family member
Your care chat	Every message between you and Mira, and anything shared into that thread
Your logs	Symptoms, vitals, weight and every daily entry you recorded
Your documents	Prescriptions, scans and reports you uploaded, including the stored files
Your care plan	Checklist items, reminders and appointments
Alerts raised about you	Red-flag alerts Mira sent to your doctor
AI diagnostic records	The internal step-by-step records of how Mira produced each reply
Family connections	Links between your account and any guardian following your care
Notification tokens	The device tokens used to send you push notifications
Your sign-in	Your authentication account is removed, so the email and password no longer work anywhere

Doctor and family-member accounts are deleted the same way — profile, sign-in, notification tokens, and the links to the people they were connected to.

What we keep, and why

A small number of records survive deletion because we are required to keep them. None of them are used to contact you, and none contain your health information:

A billing record of your seat. Hospitals pay for patient seats, and a hospital disputing an invoice is entitled to see what it covered. The record we keep is an identifier and two dates — when the seat was taken and when it was released. Nothing clinical.
Consent and access logs. A record that consent was given, and that data was accessed or deleted, as a healthcare service is required to hold. These are kept to the minimum.
Records required by law, where a specific law sets a retention period.

What stays with your care team

Notes a doctor wrote about your care, and updates you chose to share with a hospital or family member, may remain in their records, as medical record-keeping obligations require. Deleting your account removes your account and the data listed above; it does not reach into a clinician’s own medical record. If you want those removed too, contact the hospital directly.

Hospital and clinic accounts

A hospital account owns a clinic, its doctors and its patients, so deleting one affects other people’s care. Those are not deleted from inside the app — email admin@mihiracareai.com and we will confirm the request with you before anything is removed.
